Agricultural track manufacturer Trackman has expanded its harvesting equipment portfolio with the launch of new T700 rubber track fitments for John Deere X9 and S7 Series combines, strengthening its presence in the high-horsepower harvesting segment. The latest additions are engineered to support the demanding operating conditions of modern combines, combining reinforced structural components, an upgraded tread design and proprietary drive lug technology to enhance durability, machine uptime and field performance during intensive harvest operations.
The T700 tracks will be offered in 30-inch and 36-inch widths, providing growers with options suited to different harvesting environments and soil conditions.
Reinforced Design Targets Longer Service Life
Trackman said the T700 platform has been developed around a new 6-inch pitch tread pattern featuring 2.38-inch tread bars, designed to improve traction while delivering smoother ride characteristics and consistent performance across varying field conditions. According to the company, the track system integrates its proprietary ARMORLUG drive lug technology, which has been engineered to withstand the high mechanical loads experienced during harvesting operations. The reinforced drive lug construction has undergone extensive field testing to improve durability in one of the track's highest-stress areas.
The structural package is further strengthened by four layers of MAXXTUFF steel belting reinforcement embedded within a 1.25-inch-thick carcass, while dual biased reinforcement plies enhance overall stability and provide additional protection through both the drive lug and wheel path. Dan Fullenkamp, Director of Business Strategy at Trackman, said the latest product reflects the company's focus on developing track systems capable of supporting increasingly powerful agricultural machinery while helping growers reduce downtime and improve long-term operating value.
Performance Enhancements Focus on Reliability
Beyond structural reinforcement, the T700 incorporates several engineering improvements intended to extend operating life under demanding harvesting conditions. The tracks utilise brass-coated steel cables to improve resistance to corrosion, while fully moulded tread lugs are designed to increase wear resistance during prolonged field use. Trackman also employs proprietary rubber compounds aimed at improving durability under heavy loads and variable terrain.
The company estimates the reinforced construction can deliver up to 23% longer service life compared with conventional track designs, potentially lowering maintenance requirements and replacement frequency for operators during successive harvest seasons. To support product longevity, the T700 range will be covered by Trackman's four-year agricultural warranty, one of the longer warranty offerings available in the agricultural rubber track segment.
Commercial Rollout Begins in August
Trackman plans a phased market introduction for the new fitments. The 36-inch T700 configuration is scheduled to become commercially available in early August, while 30-inch models are expected to reach the market in early September. The launch expands compatibility for John Deere's flagship combine platforms and reflects growing demand for high-performance undercarriage systems capable of supporting larger harvesting equipment as farms continue to scale operations and prioritise machine productivity.
