China’s farm produce imports jumped 13.2 per cent year on year to $ 59.88 billion during the period, while its exports of agricultural products hit $ 23.5 billion, up 7.4 per cent from the same period of 2022.
The country’s trade deficit for farm produce climbed 17.2 per cent year on year to $36.38 billion in the same period.
