Chevron Corporation, through its subsidiaries Chevron Australia New Energy Pvt Ltd. and Chevron Australia Pvt. announced an investment in Australia’s first nature-based carbon offset project. Chevron will also participate in a multi-year research project with Deakin University’s Blue Carbon Lab to examine the potential for CO2 sequestration in Western Australia’s coastal wetlands.
