Australia is investing in a lumpy skin disease (LSD) vaccine supply agreement as a part of ongoing efforts to keep Australia free from LSD. The Australian Government has signed a contract with MSD Animal Health to ensure an initial supply of 300,000 doses of LSD vaccine will be available for Australia, Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea (PNG), if required.
