New $1.5M funding from investors to build a fully equipped state-of-the-art technology capable of producing 100,000 liters of QarboGrow monthly
Qarbotech, Malaysia’s leading innovator in agritech and biotechnology solutions expanding across Southeast Asia, boosted by new $1.5 million funding from investors including 500 Global, Better Bite Ventures, EQT Foundation, ID Capital, and Epic Angels Limited. This expansion marks a significant milestone in Qarbotech’s global growth strategy and demonstrates the company’s commitment to bringing its cutting-edge technology to new markets.
The seed extension round will enable Qarbotech to deepen its presence in key markets such as Malaysia, as well as grow in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, which have an increasing demand for advanced agritech solutions.

To further support their regional expansion, Qarbotech is opening its first factory in Puchong, Malaysia, equipped with state-of-the-art technology capable of producing 100,000 liters of QarboGrow monthly. “This new facility will not only increase our production capacity but also enable us to meet the growing demand across Southeast Asia more efficiently,” said Amirul Merican, COO of Qarbotech.
Khailee Ng, Managing Partner, 500 Global mentioned that the impressive technology may secure additional funding from them to enhance the yield by by 60% in the regions vulnerable to climate change.
