Singapore hosted GITEX AI ASIA, on 9-10 April 2026, as a Asia’s premier event for tech, startups, and digital investments. The forum connected enterprises, startups, investors, and public-sector leaders to showcase breakthroughs in AI, cybersecurity, cloud, fintech, quantum, telco, data centers, IoT, health tech, smart cities, climate, and green tech solutions. As a global tech hub, Singapore provided the ideal setting to link Asia’s innovation ecosystems. The event was aimed to accelerate innovation, foster global tech collaboration, and drive digital transformation across the region, emphasizing innovation, emerging technologies, and cross-industry partnerships.
The 2026 edition of GITEX AI ASIA emphasized transformative technologies spanning AI, cybersecurity, fintech, telecom, cloud, data centers, Climate tech and health tech, bridging the world’s most innovative disruptors with Asia’s rapidly expanding digital economy. This second edition convened over 600 global enterprises and startups, 23,000 tech executives, 250 active investors and VCs, representatives from 110 countries, and more than 170 influential tech voices, offering unparalleled opportunities for networking, showcasing innovations, and scaling businesses.
The GITEX AI ASIA opening welcome address, and a keynote session were held with speakers such as David Koh, Commissioner of Cybersecurity and Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, Chris McCuin, Managing Director of Kaoun International in Southeast Asia, and Yamilette Cano, Founder and Speaker of Louder Global from Hong Kong.

The panel discussion on “The Green Tech, Blue Tech and Sustainability Explosion” highlighted Asia’s leadership in climate innovation, emphasizing massive decarbonization and ocean-focused advancements that presented trillion-dollar opportunities. Key areas of focus included renewable and green hydrogen ecosystems, circular supply chain platforms, climate capital deployment, and significant investments from GCC and Japan in transition technologies. The discussion also identified major industries poised for disruption and explored innovations in ocean health and food systems. Building Sustainable, Green, and Circular Factories For The Next Decade
The Beyond Industry 4.0 Forum Main Stage : Industry 5.0 was highlighted as pushing factories beyond efficiency toward sustainability-by-design, where circular systems, low-carbon operations, and waste-free production became core architecture rather than afterthoughts. The session revealed how AI, robotics, and next-gen materials were enabling green, regenerative, and future-proof factories across sectors such as medical devices and electronics.
Key points included, Autonomous decision-making using real-time AI – Supply chain resilience through predictive simulation and how Industry 5.0 made global logistics shockproof.

A series of Startups surrounding Agritech, Climate tech, decarbonization, marine resources and sustainable energy were showcased at the second edition of Gitex Asia.
Yaya: Sri Lanka:
Yaya empowers farmers with realtime agri and weather insights while unlocking access driving higher yield decisions and scalable growth by providing tailored crop management advice, pricing updates, an integrated marketplace, and tools like a chatbot for queries and daily updates.
Tharanga Karunatilake, co founder of Fintelex Pvt Ltd explains “the Yaya app, developed by Haranga on the Internet, supports farmers by offering comprehensive tools and information for their crops and agricultural activities. Its key features include tailored crop management advice based on farmer-provided details like location, crops, and startup dates, as well as pricing updates for produce, an integrated marketplace for buying and selling agricultural products, a chatbot for queries with daily updates, and a broader scope supporting “fish and example animals.” Additionally, it provides a unique first-aid option allowing farmers to access medical advice from an “African center” for health issues. Originating in Sri Lanka, the app’s development involved extensive research and data collection from farmers to ensure a user-focused design, with plans to expand internationally.”

The Supernova Pitch Competition Tech Talks Stage hosted the SUPERNOVA SEMI-FINALS where 50 shortlisted startups pitched their transformative solutions in AI, climate tech, fintech, and other advanced technologies. They presented their innovations to a panel of judges, demonstrating real-world impact. Each startup had 2 minutes to pitch, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A with the judges. The top 10 startups were selected to advance to the finals. Speakers included Ron Vining, Founder & CMO of AgenticInfluX / ThemeParkX from Singapore.
