PTPN IV establishes cooperation with PT ASJ
Management of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV (PTPN IV) signed an agro-tourism Build Operate Transfer (BOT) contract with PT Anugerah Sidamanik Jaya (PT ASJ). The signing was carried out by the Director of PTPN IV Sucipto Prayitno and the Main Director of PT ASJ Rio Handoyo Mawardi at the Bidakara Tower, Jakarta.
The object of the agreed agro-tourism cooperation is PTPN IV’s 9-hectare tea plantation area named Bukit Teletubbies and Bukit Cinta in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. This location has various facilities such as villas, glamping, ATV arena, outdoor adventure, restaurants and paid photo spots.
“It is hoped that the cooperation that we have established will provide added value to companies and stakeholders to be able to develop the tourism industry in North Sumatra,” said Sucipto.
PT ASJ is a corporate entity affiliated with PT Anugerah Heha Jaya (PT AHJ). They have created various popular tourist destinations in Yogyakarta. Namely HeHa Sky View and Heha Ocean View.
At the signing ceremony for the agro-tourism BOT, the Director of PTPN IV Sucipto Prayitno was accompanied by a number of officials. Namely PTPN IV Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Business Support Budi Susanto, PTPN IV Head of Planning & Sustainability Pirgok Panggabean, and PTPN IV Liaison Office Coordinator Ipan Gumara Siahaan.
“This collaboration is PTPN IV’s effort to develop the company’s business so that it is more optimal so as to provide more benefits for state revenues,” said PTPN IV Corporate Secretariat Section Head Mulianto.
