CJ BIO has used fermentation technology and strain development for more than 60 years to develop microbial products that are extremely effective within a short period of time. By utilizing CJ BIO’s extensive microbial library and advanced automated systems, such as the robot-arm, “HTS” (High-throughput Screening), specific functions can be efficiently selected. CJ BIO’s fermentation, plant and biological data scientists have used these systems to screen powerful microbes that can replace chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Furthermore, they developed large-scale fermentation systems and developed high-cell density microbial products. In addition, they have created strains that perform better in the field due to optimization. Meanwhile, various international research institutions, including some from South Korea, are conducting large-scale field evaluations.
