PI AgSciences integrates biologics, crop protection, custom synthesis, and manufacturing to deliver innovative solutions for growers worldwide.
PI Industries Ltd. (PI) has announced that Plant Health Care Plc (PHC) has rebranded as PI AgSciences, marking a significant step in strengthening its global presence in biologics and sustainable crop solutions. The transition follows PI’s acquisition of PHC in August 2024, including its subsidiaries in the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, and other markets.
PI AgSciences, as the global agriculture business of PI Industries, will operate with a global office in St. Louis, Missouri, leveraging the region’s agricultural innovation ecosystem. Regional operations will continue in Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Spain, with a biologics R&D center in Seattle, Washington.
PI AgSciences integrates biologics, crop protection, custom synthesis, and manufacturing to deliver innovative solutions for growers worldwide. This integration aligns with PI’s purpose of creating a healthier planet and builds on its over 25 years of experience in the biologics field.
“We have made significant investments in our biotechnology platform and continue to see strong market traction. These solutions complement PI’s differentiated portfolio, providing comprehensive crop solutions to farmers worldwide,” said Mayank Singhal, Vice President and Managing Director of PI Industries Ltd.
Jagresh Rana, CEO of PI AgSciences, added, “We are building a global agribusiness with the commercial reach and scientific depth to compete at scale. We deliver innovative solutions that create real value for growers.” PI Industries, with over 80 years of history and approximately $1 billion in revenue, operates in over 40 countries with a team of 4,000 employees.
The company is a leading player in the biologics field and has been recognized in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for two consecutive years. The addition of PHC’s biologics technology platform further accelerates PI’s innovation process and strengthens its biologics portfolio.
