Under a multi-year agreement GAR will be the exclusive supplier of over one million tonnes of tropical oils to Verborg Group
Golden Agri-Resources (GAR), leading global agribusiness and palm oil producer, has announced a strategic partnership with Verborg Group, a new entrant to the vegetable oil market can. The partnership includes a multi-year agreement under which GAR will be the exclusive supplier of over one million tonnes of tropical oils to Verborg Group.
Verborg Group, with three decade in oil and fats industry, recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art vegetable oil refinery in the Netherlands. The refinery is scheduled to be commissioned at the end of January 2024. GAR will supply three key raw materials under the contract: Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) and Coconut Oil.
This collaboration aligns with GAR’s European business strategy, which aims to build long-term relationships and reliably supply customers and partners in Europe with high quality, responsibly sourced tropical oils in the face of changing regulations.
