The Center for Aquaculture Technologies (CAT), a leading provider of genetics solutions in aquaculture, has announced a collaboration with C4U Corporation. Their joint effort aims to apply CRISPR-Cas3 technology to promote genome editing in major commercial fish species and drive technological advancements within the industry. Through Project Lampung, a collaborative sustainability initiative, Solidaridad, BASF, The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), and The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) have made real progress strengthening the sustainable palm oil supply chain and supporting smallholder farmers. Two fairs themed on agriculture and flowers, featuring participants and businesses from the mainland and Taiwan, will be held in east China’s Fujian from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2, the country’s agriculture and rural affairs ministry said Friday. Vietnamese tuna fetched US$693 million during the first ten months, making it the third largest export among the Southeast Asian economy’s seafood this year, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
