Verdesian Life Sciences has announced that its flagship nitrogen management solution, Primacy Alpha, has received the Certified Biostimulant label under The Fertilizer Institute’s (TFI) certification program. The designation confirms the product’s efficacy, composition, and safety standards in line with the United States Biostimulant Industry Guidelines.
The certification not only validates the scientific basis of Primacy Alpha but also enhances its prospects for regulatory approvals and wider market access.
“This certification is a powerful endorsement of the science behind Primacy Alpha,” said Amber Harrison, Product Marketing Manager at Verdesian. “It reflects our commitment to proven, sustainable technologies that help crops thrive—especially under stress.”
Primacy Alpha is a phosphite-free biostimulant designed to improve nutrient uptake, bolster reproductive growth, and increase stress tolerance in crops. Its proprietary formulation includes nitrogen, potassium, sulfur, boron, manganese, and zinc, and leverages patented technology developed in collaboration with Los Alamos National Laboratory and UC Riverside.
The product is compatible with both foliar and soil applications and integrates easily into existing fertility regimes. It is suited for a wide array of crops, including cereals, legumes, vegetables, grapes, and tree nuts.
With growing regulatory scrutiny and rising demand for sustainable agri-inputs, the TFI certification positions Verdesian’s Primacy Alpha as a credible, science-backed solution in the evolving biostimulants market.
