FQT’s MSC system can work with a variety of feedstocks, enabling the efficient production of a higher value protein-enriched animal feed co-product.
Fluid Quip Technologies (FQT), a global leader in advanced biofuels, biochemistry and innovative co-product technologies, is set to provide the first wheat-based MSC™ (Maximized Stillage Co-products™) system at the Ensus UK Limited ethanol facility in Teesside, a subsidiary of Crop Energies AG.
The collaboration is the iterates efficiency of MSC technology in delivering high quality animal feed solutions. This project marks MSC™’s entry into the UK and European technology markets. This agreement between the companies demonstrates MSC’s flexibility and efficiency.
“We are really excited about this opportunity to work hand in hand with Crop Energies and Ensus UK for our first MSC installation with wheat as the main feedstock,” says Neal Jakel, President of FQT.
FQT’s patented MSC™ technology integrates seamlessly into Ensus UK Limited’s existing biofuels operations, enabling the efficient production of a higher value protein-enriched animal feed co-product. Beyond corn and wheat, FQT’s MSC system can work with a variety of feedstocks, including sorghum blends.
FQT has 11 MSC systems in service worldwide, with an additional system currently under construction and others in the design phase. FQT has completed preliminary engineering of the Ensus system and will begin full-scale advanced engineering and equipment procurement this month.
Fluid Quip Technologies (FQT) is a global leader in providing proprietary technologies and engineering services to the biofuels and biochemical industries.
