The collaboration will also focus on aligning feed specifications, supply volumes and delivery schedules across Baladna’s international operations
Baladna has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UAE-based Al Dahra Holding to explore a strategic partnership focused on global farming operations and long-term animal feed supply for Baladna’s expanding dairy business across international markets, including Syria.
The agreement was signed during the Make it in the Emirates 2026 forum in Abu Dhabi and establishes a framework for collaboration across several agribusiness activities, including farming platform development, agricultural operations management and tailored feed commodity supply.
Under the proposed partnership, Al Dahra will serve as a global farming partner and strategic supplier, supporting Baladna with grains and feed inputs customized to the dairy company’s operational requirements. The collaboration will also focus on aligning feed specifications, supply volumes and delivery schedules across Baladna’s international operations.
According to the companies, the partnership is expected to strengthen Baladna’s global supply chain capabilities while supporting its long-term international expansion plans, particularly in emerging and strategic markets such as Syria.
The MoU was signed by Marek Warzywoda and Wissam Abbas in the presence of senior executives from both organizations, including Saifullah Khan, Maurice A Ghattas and Arnoud van den Berg.
Marek Warzywoda stated that the agreement represents an important step toward building a more integrated and resilient supply chain to support Baladna’s global dairy ambitions.
Arnoud van den Berg added that the partnership reflects a shared vision to develop scalable and efficient agricultural systems capable of meeting rising global food demand through integrated feed production and supply chain management solutions.
The companies said the agreement is expected to create a foundation for long-term collaboration in large-scale farming and feed supply initiatives across multiple international markets.
