The new council to initiate ground projects through Grow Asia’s Multi-Donor Impact Funds to demonstrate the viability of sustainable and inclusive business models
Grow Asia Business Council has announced that Corteva Agriscience and East-West Seed will be the new Co-Chairs for 2023/24. With this, Grow Asia, the multistakeholder platform continues to build a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food system in Asia.
Bayer Crop Science and Charoen Pokphand Produce, are the outgoing Business Council Co-Chairs of 2022/23.
The organization has established two high-level advisory councils – the Partners’ Advisory Council and the Business Council which will play a vital role in guiding Grow Asia’s efforts and ensuring that its initiatives align with the diverse perspectives and priorities of its stakeholders.
The Business Council is composed of members from the private sector who guide Grow Asia in developing robust and market-driven approaches. The council members invest in on-the-ground projects through Grow Asia’s Multi-Donor Impact Funds and demonstrating the viability of sustainable and inclusive business models.
The initiative will bring large and small businesses together to engage in the production, distribution, or sale of agriculture, food, or forestry products. Thus, the Business Council will helps to create a positive impact on the entire food system.
