Syngenta has introduced YIELDON™, a state-of-the-art biostimulant designed to elevate the productivity and profitability of major crops in Brazil, including soybeans, corn, cotton, and sugarcane. This innovative bioinput activates specific plant genes that regulate metabolism, promoting cell division and expansion while enhancing the transport of sugars, nutrients, and lipids. Its 100% natural formulation, combined with Syngenta’s proprietary GeaPower technology, unlocks the full potential of plant physiology, ensuring higher productivity, superior grain and lint quality, and a rapid return on investment for farmers.
Dáfila Fagotti, Biologicals Product Manager at Syngenta, emphasized the role of advanced science in YIELDON™’s development. “By integrating genomics, which studies genes in the lab, with phenomics, which examines how these genes express themselves in the field, Syngenta has created a solution that aligns with our commitment to innovation and sustainability,” she explained.
YIELDON™’s unique composition includes plant and algae extracts enriched with essential micronutrients tailored to support crop development. As a comprehensive bioactivator for the reproductive stages of soybeans, corn, and cotton, it is particularly effective in optimizing yields. For soybeans and corn, next-generation gene sequencing (NGS) identifies genes linked to productivity, enabling precise activation.
Fagotti added, “GeaPower technology ensures YIELDON™ activates the right genes at the right time, improving flower set, increasing pod numbers, and enhancing grain weight and quantity. Field trials have demonstrated an average yield increase of 3.6 bags per hectare for soybeans and 7.1 bags per hectare for corn, underscoring its effectiveness.”
