Four-year investment to fast-track aquaculture industry development in Western Australia Western Australia is investing AU$8.5 million over the next four years to drive aquaculture research and development including upgrading facilities at Broome, Pemberton and Albany in the region. Chinese dairy giant Yili subsidiary Westland Milk Products lays foundation for the new factory in Hokitika to establish itself as the world’s valued bioactive ingredients producer. On May 23, Yili subsidiary Westland Milk Products held a ceremony for the construction of its NZ$70 million ($42.58 million) lactoferrin factory in Hokitika, New Zealand. New plant to establish in USA with approx. $1 billion investment using proprietary technology that utilizes only air, water, and zero-carbon electricity as raw materials. Técnicas Reunidas has signed a contract with the green fertilizer company, Atlas Agro, for the development of a zero-carbon fertilizer plant, Pacific Green Fertilizer (PGF), in Richland, Washington, US. Evonik launches the next-generation feed additive product for animal feeds
The upgraded Biolys® provides higher concentrations of L-lysine which have a significantly lower carbon footprint among available feed additives in the market. On June 1, Evonik will introduce a new generation of Biolys®, a proven source of lysine for livestock feeds. The novel formulation product contains valuable nutrients and energy resulting from its fermentation process, which can benefit livestock such as swine or poultry.
